New places to shop in metro Phoenix in June 2022 – The Arizona Republic

Several new shopping destinations have recently opened across metro Phoenix, offering test rides on mobility scooters, ice hockey training machines, vinyl records and merchandise from local business owners.

Arizonans who love shopping local will find products from more 40 locally owned businesses under one roof at Retail Therapy AZ in Glendale. Across town, music lovers in the East Valley can buy and sell vinyl records at a new Gilbert store.

From Glendale to Scottsdale to Gilbert, here are five new stores to check out and where you can find them.

The Hockey Pro Shop

The Hockey Pro Shop in Scottsdale offers indoor puck-shooting and stick-handling training machines, mobile skate sharpening services and equipment cleaning and a selection of products available for purchase.

Retail Therapy AZ is a venue in downtown Glendale that sells products from more than 40 locally owned businesses. You’ll find jewelry, art, apparel, home goods and more. A slime party, mommy and me paint party and movie night are among the upcoming events.

Rock This Town Records

Rock This Town Records is now selling new and used vinyl in Gilbert as well as in its online store. Customers can also bring in their collections to sell.

Sephora at Kohl’s

A Kohl’s store in Ahwatukee Foothills is now home to beauty retailer Sephora. According to a press release, Sephora at Kohl’s is a “2,500 square foot, fully immersive beauty experience that mimics the look and feel of a freestanding Sephora.” Beauty advisers and product testing are available.

WHILL

WHILL, which sells electric wheelchairs, has opened a Phoenix flagship store with a test track that involves grass, gravel and bumps.
